- This is our third production of Bizet’s famous opera and our twentieth opera production
- Our opening night guest was Canadian baritone Christopher Dunham
- Fundraisers included an Alumni Concert which played to a packed house at Buchanan Park
- Education prior to the opera included a visit from Emmy award winning makeup artist Dawn Rivard and Grammy award winning bass-baritone Mark S. Doss
- Raised $4,000.00 for McMaster University's Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Research Fund at the Children's Hospital of Hamilton (Ontario) Health Sciences, making our total since 1997 C$59, 228.00
