Marriage of Figaro, April 2011
- This is our fifth year of presenting an opera by Mozart and our second production of "The Marriage of Figaro".
- Our special guest is Canadian mezzo Kimberly Barber, opera star and Associate Professor of Voice at Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, where she also acts as Administrative Coordinator of the Opera Program.
- Raised funds by having a silent auction "Figaro's Wedding Cake." event where students and adults created delectable and artistically beautiful creations.
- Raised $4,000.00 for McMaster University's Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Research Fund at the Children's Hospital of Hamilton (Ontario) Health Sciences, making our total since 1997 C$47, 228.00.
